A fire control line where water or fire retardant has been applied to extinguish flames and prevent their spread. This boundary serves as a temporary barrier, creating a zone where combustible materials are saturated and less likely to ignite. Firefighters establish wetlines using hoses, pumps, and other water delivery systems during active fire suppression.
