Cross-liability coverage
Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-001045
A provision in a commercial general liability policy that treats each insured party as if they were the only insured, thereby extending coverage for claims made by one insured against another. This avoids the situation where one insured's claim against another would be denied due to the policy's exclusion for claims between insureds. It is particularly relevant for partnerships or joint ventures.
