Terrorist activities carried out by individuals or groups inspired by or associated with U.S.-based movements, ideologies, or causes, that occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States. These acts involve violence dangerous to human life that violates federal or state criminal laws, and are intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population, influence government policy, or affect government conduct. Examples include acts by white supremacists or anti-government extremists.
