Entire contract clause

A provision in an insurance policy stating that the policy document itself, including any attached applications or endorsements, constitutes the complete agreement between the insured and the insurer. This clause prevents either party from introducing external evidence or prior agreements to alter the terms of the policy. It is a standard feature in life and health insurance contracts.
