Free of particular average FPA
Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-001593
A marine insurance clause that limits the insurer's liability for partial losses to specific circumstances, typically excluding minor or partial damage to cargo unless the vessel is stranded, sunk, burned, or in collision. This clause reduces the premium by transferring the risk of small, isolated damages to the insured. It is a more restrictive form of coverage than 'with average' (WA).
