Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-001646

A single-use containment system, typically a sealed polyethylene bag with integrated gloves, used for the safe removal of asbestos-containing materials from pipes and other small components. The enclosure isolates the hazardous material during removal, preventing the release of asbestos fibers into the surrounding environment and protecting workers from inhalation exposure. This engineering control is a standard risk management practice in asbestos abatement projects regulated under OSHA and EPA standards.
