Graduated drivers licenses
Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-001654
A system for new drivers that phases in driving privileges over time, typically starting with a learner's permit, then an intermediate license, and finally a full license. Each stage imposes restrictions on driving, such as curfews, passenger limits, or supervision requirements, to reduce accident risk among inexperienced drivers. This program aims to provide new drivers with more experience in lower-risk settings.
