National Response Team (NRT)

A multi-agency body composed of 16 federal agencies with responsibilities for emergency planning and response to hazardous substance releases, oil spills, and other emergencies. It provides national-level policy guidance and coordination for preparedness and response activities. The NRT is co-chaired by the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Coast Guard.
