National Response Center (NRC)

The sole national point of contact for reporting all oil, chemical, radiological, biological, and etiological discharges into the environment anywhere in the United States and its territories. It serves as the direct link between the public and the federal government for reporting pollution incidents. The NRC is staffed 24 hours a day by U.S. Coast Guard personnel.
