Radius of operations

The maximum geographical distance from a specified business location within which an insured's vehicles or mobile equipment are covered under a commercial auto or equipment policy. Operations beyond this stated radius may require an endorsement or a separate policy for coverage to apply. This distance is a rating factor, with a larger radius resulting in a higher premium due to the increased exposure.
