Standard premium

The premium produced by applying manual rates to a policy's exposure base and then the experience rating modification and other rating adjustments such as schedule rating. It is the amount before premium discounts and expense constants are applied, so it comes after experience rating rather than before it. Standard premium is the base on which workers compensation premium discount percentages are calculated.
