Vexatious litigant

An individual who repeatedly files lawsuits or legal actions without reasonable grounds, primarily to harass or annoy others, or to abuse the legal process. Courts may declare such individuals vexatious, imposing restrictions on their ability to file future lawsuits without judicial permission. This designation aims to protect defendants and the judicial system from undue burden.
