Sexual abuse exclusion

A provision in an insurance policy that specifically removes coverage for claims arising from acts of sexual abuse or molestation. This exclusion applies regardless of whether the abuse was committed by an employee, volunteer, or other party associated with the insured organization. Such exclusions are common in general liability, professional liability, and employment practices liability policies.
