Adjuster

An individual who investigates insurance claims to determine the extent of the insurer's liability and the amount of compensation due to the policyholder. Adjusters assess damages, interview witnesses, and review policy terms. They work for the insurance company or as independent contractors, evaluating claims for property damage, personal injury, or other covered losses.
