Admissible evidence

Evidence that a court allows to be presented to a jury or judge during a trial because it meets legal rules of evidence. To be admissible, evidence must be relevant, material, and not excluded by rules such as hearsay or privilege. The Federal Rules of Evidence govern admissibility in federal courts.
