Challenge for cause

An objection to a prospective juror based on a specific reason that demonstrates the juror's inability to be impartial or fair. Grounds for this challenge include bias, a relationship to a party, or a financial interest in the case. The judge must approve a challenge for cause, and there is no limit to the number of such challenges a party can make.
