Electioneering

The act of actively campaigning for or against a political candidate or party, or for or against a ballot measure. This includes activities such as distributing campaign literature, soliciting votes, or making public statements intended to influence an election. Laws often regulate electioneering, particularly near polling places, to prevent undue influence on voters.
