Enforced sterilization

The involuntary surgical procedure performed on an individual to prevent reproduction, often carried out under state authority. This practice has historically been used in eugenics programs to control populations deemed undesirable. International human rights law now widely condemns enforced sterilization as a violation of bodily autonomy and reproductive rights.
