Executor

An individual or institution appointed in a will to carry out the instructions of the deceased person, particularly regarding the administration and distribution of their estate. The executor is responsible for collecting assets, paying debts and taxes, and distributing the remaining property to beneficiaries. They have a fiduciary duty to act in the best interests of the estate.
