Guardian

An individual legally appointed to care for the person or property, or both, of another individual who is deemed incapable of managing their own affairs. This incapacity often arises due to minority, mental illness, or physical disability. The guardian acts in a fiduciary capacity, making decisions in the best interest of the ward.
