Financial guardian

An individual or entity appointed by a court to manage the financial affairs and assets of another person who is deemed incapable of doing so themselves. This role, also known as a conservator, involves making decisions about investments, paying bills, and handling property. The guardian must act in the best financial interest of the ward and provide regular accountings to the court.
