Conservator

A person or entity appointed by a court to manage the financial affairs or personal care, or both, of an individual who is deemed incapacitated. The conservator acts as a fiduciary, making decisions in the best interest of the conservatee. Their authority is defined by the court order establishing the conservatorship.
