Final settlement

A conclusive agreement that resolves all outstanding claims between disputing parties and ends the dispute. It records the terms of the resolution, such as payment amounts, transfers of property, or actions to be taken. Once signed it is a binding contract enforceable by a court, and its release language bars later claims on the same matters, with res judicata applying where the case is dismissed with prejudice.
