The premature coordination or integration of two merging companies before the official closing of the transaction, which can violate antitrust laws. This conduct can include sharing competitively sensitive information or exercising control over the target company's operations prior to regulatory approval. Such actions are prohibited under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976.
