Judicial ethics

The body of principles and rules that govern the conduct of judges and other judicial officers. These standards are designed to uphold the integrity, impartiality, and independence of the judiciary. They address issues such as conflicts of interest, ex parte communications, and appropriate courtroom demeanor, often codified in a Code of Judicial Conduct.
