Manual accounting system

A system for recording financial transactions using physical ledgers, journals, and paper documents, without the aid of computer software. This method involves hand-written entries for all debits and credits, and manual preparation of financial statements. While largely replaced by computerized systems, it provides a foundational understanding of accounting principles.
