Manufacturing defect

A flaw in a product that arises during the production process, making the product deviate from its intended design and rendering it unreasonably dangerous. This defect occurs in a specific item, not in the entire product line. Liability for manufacturing defects is often strict, meaning the plaintiff does not need to prove negligence.
