Defective

Describing something that contains a flaw, imperfection, or inadequacy that prevents it from functioning as intended or meeting expected standards. In legal contexts, a product is defective if it is unreasonably dangerous due to a manufacturing, design, or warning defect. A defective contract may be unenforceable.
