Strict liability

A legal doctrine holding a party responsible for damages or injuries caused by their actions or products, regardless of fault or negligence. This applies in specific contexts, such as abnormally dangerous activities, defective products, or animal attacks. The plaintiff only needs to prove that the harm occurred and was caused by the defendant's activity or product, not that the defendant acted carelessly.
