Abnormally dangerous activity

An undertaking that involves a high degree of risk of serious harm to persons or property, which cannot be eliminated even with the exercise of reasonable care. Strict liability is typically imposed for harm caused by such activities, meaning the actor is liable regardless of fault. Examples include blasting operations or the storage of hazardous chemicals.
