Occupational hazard

A risk of harm or injury inherent in a particular job or work environment. These dangers can range from physical risks, such as exposure to dangerous machinery or chemicals, to psychological stressors. Employers have a legal duty to mitigate occupational hazards to the extent feasible, often mandated by safety regulations and industry standards.
