National Labor Relations Act

A foundational federal statute in the United States that safeguards the rights of private sector employees to form or join labor organizations, engage in collective bargaining, and undertake other concerted activities for mutual aid or protection. It also defines and prohibits unfair labor practices by employers and unions. The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) enforces the provisions of this act.
