Coercive statement by an employer

A declaration made by an employer that interferes with employees' rights to organize, form, join, or assist a labor organization. Such statements may threaten employees with adverse consequences for engaging in protected concerted activities. The National Labor Relations Act prohibits employers from making coercive statements.
