Nontransferable ticket

A travel document, such as an airline or train ticket, that cannot be legally transferred or used by anyone other than the person whose name appears on it. This restriction is typically imposed by carriers to manage pricing, prevent resale, and control passenger manifests. Attempting to use such a ticket by an unauthorized individual can result in denial of boarding or forfeiture of the ticket's value.
