Permanent injury

A physical or psychological harm resulting from an accident or event from which a person is not expected to make a full recovery. This type of injury has lasting consequences, affecting the individual's ability to function, work, or enjoy life as they did before the incident. In personal injury claims, the determination of permanency affects the calculation of future damages, including medical expenses and lost earning capacity.
