Proprietary rights

The legal entitlements that an individual or entity holds over a specific piece of property, granting exclusive control and the ability to benefit from it. These rights allow the owner to use, possess, transfer, or dispose of the property as they see fit, within the bounds of the law. They are enforceable against third parties and can encompass both real property and intellectual property.
