A citation signal that introduces additional authority supporting a proposition already backed by the main cited source. It is used for supplementary support rather than the strongest authority, so it normally follows a citation with no signal or 'see', and an explanatory parenthetical is encouraged when the added source's relevance is not obvious. It sits just after 'see' in the standard order of supportive signals.
