Order of signals

The citation rule that fixes the sequence of signals when one citation uses several. Signals of the same type are strung together in a single citation sentence separated by semicolons, in a set order such as no signal, e.g., accord, see, see also, then cf., while signals of different types go in separate citation sentences. Supportive signals come first, then comparison, then contradictory, with background signals last.
