Comparison signal

A citation signal group that suggests a useful comparison between authorities instead of direct support or contradiction. It consists of the single signal 'Compare ... with ...', which cites two or more authorities whose comparison supports or illustrates the proposition in the text. It is distinct from the supportive signals such as 'see' and 'cf.', and from the negative signals 'contra', 'but see', and 'but cf.'.
