Vague

Describing a law, contract, or legal provision that is unclear, indefinite, or lacks sufficient precision to be understood or applied consistently. A vague statute can be challenged on constitutional grounds, particularly under the Due Process Clause, for failing to provide adequate notice of what conduct is prohibited. Courts require laws to be sufficiently definite to prevent arbitrary enforcement.
