Dunnage

Protective packing materials used to fill voids, brace, and cushion cargo inside a shipping container, truck trailer, or railcar. These materials prevent items from shifting, colliding, or being damaged by vibration and impact during transportation. Dunnage ranges from custom-engineered foam inserts and inflatable air bags to simple wood blocks, crunched paper, and plastic sheeting.
