A set of internationally recognized rules that define the responsibilities of buyers and sellers for the delivery of goods under sales contracts. These terms specify who is responsible for paying and managing the shipment, insurance, documentation, and customs clearance. They are published by the International Chamber of Commerce and are updated periodically, with the current version being Incoterms 2020.
