Delivered duty unpaid (DDU)

An international trade agreement where the seller delivers goods to a designated place in the buyer's country, bearing all transportation costs and risks up to that point. The seller handles all export formalities, but the buyer is responsible for paying import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees upon the goods' arrival. The Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) term was officially replaced by Delivered at Place (DAP) in the Incoterms 2010 rules, although it may still appear in older contracts.
