An Incoterm in which the seller carries the greatest obligation, delivering the goods to the named place of destination cleared for import, with all risks and costs borne by the seller until then. The seller pays for carriage, export and import customs clearance, and all duties and taxes, but is not required to buy insurance for the buyer. The buyer takes delivery and unloads the goods, and DDP is the only Incoterm that places import duties on the seller.
