Roll on, roll off (RoRo)

A method of cargo shipping where wheeled vehicles, such as cars, trucks, and trailers, are driven directly onto and off the vessel under their own power or using specialized equipment. This eliminates the need for cranes or other lifting machinery at ports. RoRo vessels are designed with ramps and multiple decks to accommodate a large volume of vehicles.
