Zone picking

A warehouse order fulfillment method where an order picker is assigned to a specific physical area or zone within the warehouse. The picker is responsible for selecting all items for an order that are located within their assigned zone. After picking, items from different zones are consolidated to complete the full customer order, often at a central packing station.
