Actinogram
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-003266
A graphical record produced by an actinograph, showing the intensity of solar radiation over a period of time. The chart plots radiation intensity on the y-axis against time on the x-axis, creating a curve that rises and falls with the sun's daily cycle and changes in cloud cover. The total radiation received over a specific interval is determined by calculating the area under the curve.
