Airfield color code

A system of color-coded flags or lights displayed at an airfield to indicate the current flight conditions, primarily visibility and ceiling height. These codes provide a quick visual reference for pilots and ground personnel regarding operational limitations. Green typically signifies visual flight rules (VFR) conditions, while red indicates instrument flight rules (IFR) conditions.
