Airport elevation

The highest point of an airport's usable landing area, measured in feet or meters above mean sea level. This official figure is published in aeronautical charts and is used for aircraft performance calculations and flight planning. It serves as the reference datum for all altitude measurements at the airport, including instrument approach minimums and traffic pattern altitudes.
