Barchan

A crescent-shaped sand dune with its convex side facing upwind and two 'horns' pointing downwind. These dunes form in areas with a limited sand supply, a relatively flat surface, and a consistent wind direction. Barchans typically migrate across desert landscapes at varying speeds, depending on wind strength and sand availability.
